REGION: Grand Teton National Park TITLE: Signal Mountain
NOTES: Northeast of Jackson and west of Moran, the 10 mile out & back trek up Signal Mountain is a good tour on unplowed roads to escape from the crowds. The route starts from near Signal Mountain Lodge and runs through pine forests. To reach the trailhead from Jackson, head north on SR26 to Moran Junction. Turn left into the northern section of GTNP and then left again up towards Signal Mountain Lodge.
